In February 1990, the Rolling Stones finally played Japan. Their planned visit in the early '70s had fallen through, and Japanese fans had waited nearly two decades. When it came, it was ten nights at the Tokyo Dome, the closing run of the Steel Wheels tour, and, as it turned out, Bill Wyman's last tour with the band.
I was there on February 17 with this ticket: 2nd-floor stand, Gate 41. I bought this programme at the Dome that same night. One night wasn't enough. For the other nights, I took a part-time job as a security guard at the Dome, just to be inside while the Stones played.
