The debut. Before the mascot became an industry, before the stadiums — this is Iron Maiden in 1980, raw and Di'Anno-fronted, the record that lit the fuse on the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.

This is the Japanese Toshiba EMI pressing, and it carries something most copies don't: the full-length 7:20 version of "Phantom of the Opera," complete with its coda — a cut shared only by a handful of pressings worldwide. Derek Riggs' first Eddie glares from the sleeve.

Edition & Pressing
Japanese pressing, Toshiba EMI (EMS-81327 / matrix EMC-3330). Includes the complete gatefold-style insert with full English and Japanese lyric translations and Masanori Ito's liner notes — the Japanese edition's signature. No obi. Full-length "Phantom of the Opera."

Condition
Sleeve: VG+ — clean with light edge/corner wear.
Media: VG+ — glossy, minimal signs of play.
Graded separately, Goldmine standard. What you see and read is what ships.

Cleaning & Care

Every record in this shop is individually cleaned on our ultrasonic cleaning system before it is listed — a deep bath process that lifts dust and residue from the groove itself, beyond what a conventional brush reaches. Each disc is then handled with lint-free wipes.

Sleeve and media are graded separately (Goldmine standard), with honest disclosure of any flaws. What you see and read is what ships.

Shipping

All items ship from Tokyo, Japan via EMS with full tracking and insurance. Estimated delivery is 5–8 business days to Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and 11–14 business days to the United States after dispatch. Every item is carefully packed to protect all volumes in transit.
